i have an idea, maybe you can create a macro that opens an open dialog box or RecentFiles dialog box when you double left click on empty space i CorelDRAW window (when no document is open) like in Photoshop. To choose which dialog box should open on double left click, let's say double right click appears setup dilog box where i may click which dialog box will open when i double lift click.

I've had the same idea a few days ago, yet currently it seems to me impossible as it requires internal DRAW code to handle the event. Yet someday in the future I will maybe figure this out...
